I am extremely disappointed with my appointment with orthopedic surgeon Alexander Golant. In all my years, I have never experienced such rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional behavior from a physician. I am 60 years old, and during my visit the doctor repeatedly referred to me as an “elderly woman” and told me that “at your advanced age, bones heal very slowly.” When I asked what he meant, he repeated that I was of “advanced age.” I found those comments deeply insensitive, unnecessary, and humiliating.
