He was not very helpful with concerns that I had when it came to nursing. His "just get over it" attitude toward my concerns did not encourage me to want to bring up any other concerns. He was overly concerned with my newborn's weight loss within the first week of my baby's life (which is normal weight loss). Caused me to have to see him several times in one week just to get money out of me. He does not make eye contact with me and always calls us by the wrong name!
I can see why some people may see Dr. Schwartz as “confrontational” or has a “strong personality.” Some may be more intimidated by his passion and may not be open to hearing what he has to say due to their own insecurities. We see it more as confidence in what he is doing. Our children’s best interest is always at heart for him. I must have seen his evil twin brother. Brought my 6 month old into his office. Baby kept crying and fussing, so to calm him down, Schwartz stuck his thumb in my baby's mouth! OMG! I was totally grossed out. He is so confrontational, I didn't say anything. Tho looking back, I wish I had.
Have been seeing Dr. Schwartz for 20 years.He is caring, genuine and knowledgeable. Always knows what to do. Returns phone calls. Simply the best pediatrician ever.
Dr. Schwartz has been seeing my children for over 5 years and I couldn't be happier. He is one of the most genuine, caring and authentic doctors. He tells you how it is but in a very personable way. I wouldn't take my kids to see any one else. He is truly the best and I am a VERY picky mom.
Simply the best pediatrician ever. Saw all three of my kids over a period of 25 years-always knew the right answer to everything. Trust him completely. He's awesome!!!!
