I attended my first appointment with this new Doctor and was SHOCKED at his comment regarding my request for occasional pain medication. As we were discussing my health history I mentioned that I have chronic lower back pain as my two bottom discs(L5-S1/L4-L5) are ruptured. He interrupted me before I could mention my surgery and said, and I quote, 'I don't prescribe pain medication. I don't care if you have Cancer', end quote. Dr. Kim was decent my first visit but in a follow-up later in the year, he was very dismissive and would not listen to me re: my issues and health history. Zero bedside manner. His clinic is small but the 2 ladies on staff seem unable to timely send out results or give updates on referral statuses; one of them is the nurse here too and seems to wear a second hat for admin work. The staff members are pleasant and professional. Wait time is normally five minutes. Dr. Kim takes time to hear and address your concerns. I rate him number ONE!
We a good Dr in the beginning. My dad is a patient of Dr kind for over 3 years and it has went down hill. Some of his staff is good but the lady at the front desk is horrible. She keeps getting every wrong on my dad's referrals. My dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease over 3 years ago and the Dr is just now standing him to see a specialist. I'm looking for a new Dr for my dad.
This Dr and his staff are not capable of reading out any results it took them almost a year to read out my results I had to go and get in a verbal argument to get them and the Dr did not care. Their staff real rude like the Dr.
