Dr. Kawaguchi was wonderful in my time of need and someone who I trust wholeheartedly with my loved ones and myself! Recently while on vacation in Chicago I broke my ankle (he treated me in the past for a wrist issue) and I needed to hear the voice of a surgeon that I trusted. He returned my call in Chicago and gave me the confidence to trust another facility with my urgent care. And as soon as I got off my flight he made himself available for amazing aftercare and treatment. Simply thee best.
I can't say enough about Dr Kawaguchi. He's the best. I had both knees replaced within one year with no problems. He's thorough, detailed, explains the process in minute detailed, and his work is suburb. I highly recommend him. I have my mobility back completely thanks to his skills.
Dr. Kawaguchi did a great job of diagnosing my condition and referring me to an excellent physical therapist.
Excellent surgeon and communicator
I'm a World Ranked Senior Decathlete so my legs are critical to every event. I messed up my knee training so I asked fellow athletes for help finding someone who understands us and how important it is to get back to training ASAP. Dr. Kawaguchi was recommended highly. He got me in quickly for an Xray and MRI. Instead of telling me what I should do he asked me what I wanted. We discussed 3 choices and picked one that gives me the best chance to continue without long-term damage. Thank you!
My injury was work related and happened on 4/28/2015.I Injured my right knee by removing a heavy wood burning fireplace.I had knee replaced on 11/20/2017.Everyone I talked to said he is the best.I was in good hands.He is an amazing physision.I would recommend him to anyone needing an orthopedic doctor.Also Alpine Ortho staff and facility is well organized,friendly and professional.Only down side, I had to retain an attorney to fight work comp Insurance.This had nothing to do with Alpine or Dr. K
He is very knowledgeable and detailed in working with his patient.
I am very pleased with Dr. Alan Kawaguchi and the whole environment, staff, and attention to.my specific needs. This was my first surgery using this facility and they exceeded everything in terms of professionalism than I have experienced. 5 Stars to you all!!!
I was extremely impressed with Dr. Kawaguchi's bedside manner and is surgical skills. He was excellent. He spent time with me explaining what would happen. He answered all my questions. I am very confident with Dr. Kawaguchi. I am also seeing him for my left knee
