Dr Curtis is clearly an outstanding shoulder surgeon. I highly recommend him to anyone requiring arthroscopic surgery.
Saw Dr Curtis for a shoulder issue, took the time to listen to my issues and had great questions related to my shoulder. Took a very pragmatic approach to my care and was not in a rush to anything dramatic (surgery). Suggested PT with a follow up visit to see if that helps before jumping into anything drastic. He came highly recommended to me from a friend that had both shoulders repaired in the past and his experience was very positive as well.
Dr. Curtis is a great surgeon. His technique and approach provide great results and he has a great bedside manner.
I have had two shoulder surgeries by Dr. Curtis and both were a great success. I recently had a mountain biking accident that impacted my shoulder and Dr Curtis's office fit me right in. Everyone is professional and positive, and also maintain a sense of calm and control which is helpful when dealing with injuries. The staff at BSSC are superb! I highly reccomend BSSC!
I have the highest praise for BSSC and Dr Curtis and his team. i had rotator cuff surgery and my care and treatment has been excellent. I am 68 years old and looking to continue to be active by swimming, golf, rowing and most importantly playing catch with my grandsons. I am only 5 weeks out from surgery but confident in being able to do all my desired active pursuits. Dr. Curtis and Irene G are wonderful. The office staff is equally competent and helpful.
Had a massive tear in my rotator cuff, went to see Dr Curtis about it he told me exactly what he was going to do to repair it. Surgery was a success, had it done in Waltham, started PT after 6 months feeling great no issues back doing everything without restrictions.. His PA Irene is also great they explained everything in full about the surgery and the recovery process. They also provided me with ice machine to take home after the surgery. Great job BSSC????

Dr. Curtis is a great surgeon. I had 2 surgeries and the both went well. There used to be a long wait at your appointment, but they must have changed the process because the last 3 visits I didn't wait any more than 10 minutes. The staff and and Irene are awesome too. I would recommend Dr. Curtis to anyone with shoulder issues.
