My aortic stenosis caused me to collapse while out of town. This turned out to be a miracle which redirected me to real health care. At the eleventh hour Dr. Malki saved the day showing great integrity, judgement and skill. The day after surgery I stood up unaided. Never seen that before said i.c.u staff. Friends were very impressed by my recovery.
A year ago, I was fortunate that Dr. Malki was my surgeon at Cottage Hospital when I had an emergency Aortic Dissection. My wife and our family are so grateful that Dr. Malki brought all his years of surgery experience and patient care to bear on that day.
Excellent. I had a heart attack in 2016 followed by by-pass surgery a few months later. Dr Malki was kind, professional and I was told did excellent work. With lifestyle changes I should spend many more years with my family.
Dr. Malki an excellent surgeon!!! I had aortic valve replacement surgery on October 31,2018. I couldn't be happier with the results. Dr Malki was there every step of the way explaining what to expect with during the surgery and the recovery. I was in good hands!!!
Dr. Malki performed my heart bypass surgery, I am 4 weeks post op and feeling great.
I did not have the opportunity to review my doctor prior to my bypass surgery, however that said I think I won the lottery when Dr. Malki was assigned as my surgen.

I feel fortunate to have been recommended to Dr Malki for an aortic valve replacement. He explained my options and post-op expectations in language I could understand and use to make my decisions. Needless to say I was scared but realistic. My fear was not necessary. I may be lucky, but I had no pain post-op. Dr Malki & his NP Martha were responsive and available before, during & after the surgery. I am 4 weeks into recovery and feel very fortunate. Better yet, I feel great.
