If you are a few minutes late, they ask you to pay a $54 late fee; otherwise, the doctor refuses to see you. It feels very unfair, especially when patients sometimes wait a long time for their appointments. Is this a professional medical clinic or just a way to charge extra money?
The service is unprofessional and not patient-friendly. Anyone considering this office should be very careful.
I had an appointment at 3:00 PM. My car got stuck in the snow, so I tried calling the office to inform them that I might be 5–10 minutes late, but the phone line was always busy. I even left my car and took a taxi just to try to arrive on time. Unfortunately, I arrived at 3:10 PM, only 10 minutes late. Doctor is amazing. There’s a wait sometimes but that’s OK. The doctor genuinely cares and is a really nice person.
Extremely frustrating experience with IDOF Medical Centre. Every single time I try to book an appointment with the family doctor, they are never available. Appointments are routinely pushed two weeks out, which has happened to me more than twice. What is the point of consulting a family doctor if you’re expected to wait two weeks every time you need medical attention?
