I would not recommend making an appointment with Dr. Akindele Kolade, MD, at any cost. During my consultation with him, he demonstrated a complete disregard for bedside manners and was in a hurry to finish the call which lasted less than 8 minutes. He appeared to be laughing at me throughout our conversation, leaving me feeling disrespected and unheard. My nearly 14-yr-old son has been a client at Cal Psych Services since 2019. After several years there, two therapists who mysteriously just stopped being his therapist without a formal, professional exit strategy and losing my son’s entire file, we finally saw Dr. Kolade. This guy should not have a license. He is the worst doctor I have ever been to, absolutely no help at all. His waiting room is crowded with kids running around and a too loud TV. The front desk people are rude. His "diagnosis" was laughable.
DONT GO HERE!! I’ve been there a couple times.. and I’m yet to see Dr. Kolade. He might be great.. but I wouldn’t know, so this review is not about him. This office passes you back n forth between students and sometimes you’ll see the nurse practitioner Ada ndulaka who is RUDE, condescending and someone who you should avoid. This doctor is GARBAGE! My daughter saw him for well over 2years. Gave her Medicine without really talking to her and then when I really him to refer her to a treatment center he wouldn't do it. They had me in tears and then finally after pleading with his office staff the office manager filled out my paperwork. 5 months later my daughter comes back and has to follow up with him for continued care. His office staff cancelled my appointment and NEVER called to tell me. DON'T BRING YOUR CHILDREN
I made an appointment with Dr.Kolade over a month ago. I showed up to my appointment today and the front desk lady was extremely rude. She then informed me that they had canceled my appointment and couldn't call me to tell me because they wrote down the wrong phone number. They had also originally scheduled me to see their aprn even though I told them I needed a med check. Their aprn doesn't do med checks. They promised it would be with Kolade but it was not. Made no efforts to fix the issue.
The doctor can be rude and condescending he runs his practice horribly. He allows his staff to tell patients if you miss your appt you will have to go to urgent care and that there is nothing they can do for you. The office staff is very rude, cold hearted and clearly do NOT care about helping people. If you miss an appt they can't get you in anywhere near your missed appt. And you will have to pay a $50 fee!!! I am looking for a new Dr after only having this Dr for 3 months. Do NOT GO HERE
