Dr Purvez is very compassionate about helping eliminate my pain. He has extensive training and I am very confident in the treatment plan he has prescribed for me.
How this man would even be called a doctor is a joke .all he talks about is how bad other doctors are instead of trying to help you .all did why you should be dead for what they gave you .went to see him for back pain with all paperwork to prove it prescribed me anti depressant and take motrin.never even checked me out but charged 275 to tell me I was a drug addict.i have seen pain doctors since 1995 have all mri s to prove it.this guy is a joke
He is the absolute best Dr. I have ever had since my spinal &spinal cord injury in 1995!
Great doctor knew exactly what to do to finally help my husbands RSD and that has made both me and my husband very happy because not even UVA could help him! And now I will be seeing him for my back and I have full faith in him helping me with my horrible back issues!! He really took the time to listen to mine and my husbands concerns which meant the world to us because a lot of these other doctors have not! I would def recommend him to anyone!!! Thank u so much Dr. Purvez for helping us!!

I have found Dr. Purvez to be engaging, knowable, compassionate and very professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone who would be in need of his type of medical expertise.
I like Dr. Purvez very much. His office took a bit of getting used to since every other physician I have gone to has a good sized fancy office. The second time I went I began to understand that his office is basically for consultation only, although he can do certain physical checks. The main thing is that he is kind, takes time to listen and has a very good knowledge base. First, let me start by saying that Dr. Purvez is NOT the type of doctor that would EVER write his own reviews to further his profession as a Pain Management Doctor! For anyone to assume this, they really don't know him & it's unfair that anyone would post such a comment period, but especially after only one visit to see him.
