I needed to have a lesion removed from my inner lower lip. I hate needles even so I was quite nervous. Roger, the assistant, was comforting as he prepared me for the surgery. Dr. Tawfilis was gentle and paid great attention to me. I would definitely recommend him for any oral surgery!
I was referred by my ent for a tmj problem. i had an appointment with Dr. Adel Tawfilis for a consultation which took a month to book. First of all, Dr. Tawfilis front desk staff name Ursula made me feel uncomfortable with her rude tone, her stares, and smirks. so i had to speak with her supervisor. besides that Dr. Tawdill didn't read my MRI results until he got in the room, it could be because the FRONT DESK wasnt sufficient getting my MRI( being sarcastic)but before doing so he asked why do i have pain and when did it sta... read more

My daughter had her wisdom teeth out . It was the fastest surgery I have seen. I have had at least 4 oral surgeries in my life . I would not hesitate to go to him and I am taking my son next week for his wisdom teeth.
Dr Tawfilis is excellent!! He is knowledgeable, professional and very caring!! I took my husband, who NEVER goes to the doctor, for a tooth extraction and Dr. Tawfilis immediately made him feel at ease. Dr. Tawfilis explained the procedure and all the alternatives. He made us feel as if we were his only patients. What a joy it is to be with a doctor that makes you feel like he really cares! We are lucky to have him in San Diego!!!!
