The Pro: Although going through a back surgery is not 'fun.' The results through Dr Stone and his team were phenomenal. I could tell on the day of surgery that the relief was REAL. Now, 6 weeks later, doing PT exercises and no bending, twisting, and lifting (20 lbs allowed at this time). My recovery is beyond exceptional! Follow the instructions and BE CAREFUL! I had two disks replaced in my neck using the Mobi C technology.Dr. Stone was amazing.I’m fully recovered after only 6 months. I had on and off nerve pain down my left arm, and tingling in my fingers. Dr Stone diagnosed me very easily. Everything went exactly as planned. I’m 62 and I feel great again.

Performed spinal surgery on me with outstanding results. Fully informed me of the procedures, risks, and benefits. Had been to two orthopedic surgeons prior to Dr Stone, both of whom did not diagnose my condition correctly.

Dr Stone quickly understood the severity and consequences of my situation. Dr Stone was frank regarding my prognosis and was confident the surgery he suggested would help. I’m aware your doctor should be confident in his or her abilities, but the doctor’s confidence should work to set the patient at ease, rather than come across as arrogance or indifference. Dr. Stone, his PA Garrett Gray, & the entire staff at the surgery center were all wonderful. Dr. Stone answered all my questions & eased my mind about having it, &was realistic but optimistic about the potential outcome. I am glad I had it, & very happy I chose him to do it.

This review is overdue but it's given me a chance appreciate how well my mom has been doing over the last 2 years. She fell on the stairs while carrying our infant and broke her hip. To my untrained eye, the break looked pretty significant with splintering and shards visible in the x-ray. Dr. Stone was able to put a pin and rod in via 2 small incisions and my 70 year old mom's fast recovery is a testament to his ability. She's had no pains or problems in the area ever since. Dr. Stone is highly skilled, experienced and confident which is what you are looking for in a surgeon related to back surgery. He is not only at the top of the game among his peer group, he is a kind and caring person that has great bedside manner. My surgery resulted from a broken back and what he did for me is give me my life back and greatly improve the quality of my life. I have referred another patient to him who had an identical experience and came out with the same excellent results.
