Dr. Wanner is one of the great pulmonary doctors at UM. Very caring and knowledgeable. Don't hesitate to see him if you want one of the best. Yes, the university system can be very challenging and appointment times are limited, but that should not deter you from seeing Dr. Wanner. I am grateful to Dr. Wanner for taking care of my mother and also to his staff who have been very helpful.
This doctor is only on the office 1 day per week and only in the afternoon on that day. He also on multiple occasions has "forgotten" to put some required information on prescriptions. Even multiple attempts to get the prescriptions corrected don't get them completed properly. His receptionist doesn't return calls at all.
