Dr. Anz is absolutely the BEST! I live in […], AL and have referred several friends and relatives not only to him, but to other physicians at Andrews. It's WELL worth the 2.5 hour drive to receive medical care from them!
I have never been so disappointed nor appalled by a surgeons behavior. Dr. Anz has some of the worst beside manor I have seen in a long time. He was very dismissive of my husband’s injury and stated that he would “maybe be okay” and said that “because you’re not an NFL linebacker, I’m not worried about it”.He did not take the time to gather history about my husbands personal / work life and seemed disinterested that his activities of daily living have been restricted since becoming inured. My 20 year old daughter had seen 3 other doctors over 5+ years and 3 MRIs that showed no injury. Dr. Anz was willing to scope her knee and found a bucket handle tear that was not visible on MRI. He repaired it and she had a perfect and complete recovery. Finally pain free after all those years! He has a very calm demeanor and caring manner.
Dr. And did a phenomenal job on my son Zavier’s fibula break and deltoid repair. He answered all of my questions and took time to listen to my concerns. His staff was amazing and all the follow up care was just as awesome. He took time to reassure my son this was to just a setback and he and his staff encouraged him every visit. So thankful to him and his staff! Zav is back the field an doing great!

Dr. Anz was an answer to prayer. He took time to listen, evaluate, review records and honestly address my complicated case. He was a man of integrity who was more interested in my care than he was to rush to surgery. He, obviously, took his medical oath seriously by "doing no harm"! I highly recommend Dr. Anz for anyone looking for an experienced, ethical surgeon.
This doctor told me that I was to far gone for a stem cell shot and told me that I just need a hip replacement. Three days later, I talked to the Stem Cell Research Center is Dallas and was told I only needed one good shot versus Dr Anz's treatment of 3. I also realize that the advice of pain medication from the pharmaceutical world is totally wrong. Another doctor who lacks total understanding of what causes arthritis and how it really needs to be treated.
