Dr Adam has been my Psychiatrist for YEARS now. He is honestly one of the most incredible humans I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is patient, honest, understanding, transparent, KIND, and even stern when he needs to be. He tells me what I NEED to hear rather than what I WANT to hear. My time with Dr. Cotsen has been very beneficial. He provides an open and non-judgmental space for me to express myself comfortably, no matter the issue or topic we’re working through. Whether it’s familial traumas or LGBT related relationship issues, I’ve received great advice and feedback that always seems to connect the dots for me afterwards. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a therapist and/or psychiatrist for any reason.
Dr. Cotsen was covering for my regular physician, over a holiday weekend. He literally didn't know me from Adam (pun intended). He could not humanly have been more concerned and compassionate. His conscientiousness and professionalism were immediately obvious. But, beyond that, his basic kindness and decency warmed our hearts. I was in trouble. I needed help. I first met Adam in July 2021 when I was searching for a new psychiatrist. I wanted someone that would see me regularly and not just for medicine management. I was immediately impressed with Adam.
