The overall experience was excellent. Most importantly, Dr. Ahmed’s contact person on his staff was excellent in her prompt communication, care and concern. She suggested I have an additional procedure based on blood test results she read that were faxed from my PCP. This saved a second trip to DEC and having to be put under yet a second time. My first colonoscopy was so much better than I could have ever imagined. The doctors bedside manners were great. The employees and staff were very cordial. The experience was very quick and did not feel intrusive. The doctor and anesthesiologist explained everything in full detail where I could understand it without me even having to ask. My only complaint is that I waited so long. All people of a mature age should take care of preventative medical care and I hope their experience is as good as mine.
