I was admitted to observation at northside duluth. I was extremely unsatisfied & very disappointed with my care under this doctor. I have a chronic pain illness and he stated “my bloodwork does not show i’m in crisis so we need to get me home”. I may not have a PhD but i know for a fact (based on personal experience) that bloodwork cannot show or confirm my pain… As the days continued I became increasingly irritated with his decisions about my body and my pain. Dr Getenet saved my husband’s life. He is a very knowledgeable and through. He explained everything he was doing and why. Northside Hospital is very lucky to have him on staff. I wish he was our primary care Dr. I will be forever grateful to him for ordering the tests that found my husband’s lung cancer. You are in very good hands with Dr. Getenet
