We had an appointment at 9:30am. At 11:30am a woman working in his office came to tell us to "go get lunch" and come back after 2pm, because "the doctor is consulting over the phone". We left, set up an appointment with a neurologist in San Angelo, and we are now dealing with a caring neurologist. As for Kadir's office, it seems to be a replica of a doctor's office in India: leaking roof messing up the ceiling, soiled carpet, seats looking like coming from a yard sale. This is not acceptable.
Dr Kadir has taken care of my son for 20 years. He is very intelligent and caring and he prioritizes his time and paitents. I would recommend him to anyone. He is well worth the wait. You have to remember there is a reason he is located so close to MCH ER. But if you can't accept that someone else's needs maybe more emergent then yours then find another Doctor.
scheduling an appointment is easy. Having the doctor's office keep the appointment is nearly impossible. Staff is very very rude. You wait anywhere from 1 hour to 5 hours to be seen or just get told that you wont be seen today. Seems impossible to get prescriptions refilled. Been going to him for about 2 years. He's approved through the VA and the only one they will approve for me to see otherwise I would not be going to him.
Dr. Kadir is the only neurologist who has sucessfully treated my migraines. He takes the time to listen to you and answer questions. Even though he has a large practice he remembers you. When you make an appointment you can expect it to be about 3 hours after your scheduled time, but if you know that going in there's not much of a wait. Just call the office before your appointment and they'll tell you when to come in.
The worst Dr's office I have ever been too. How can you operate a business with the unprofessionalism that the staff exhibits. They do not greet you when you walk in, you have to wait until they open the tinted window to sign in and you are still not greeted. My first appt I waited 1.5 hrs to see him then another 20 minutes in the back for him to examine me within 10 minutes and then I am out the door. My 2nd appt I cancelled and walked out after waiting 2 hrs. No dr is worth that wait time..
Half a star if possible. Horrible experiance. Resechedual the appointment for the husband not even with in a reasonable time of at least 24 hours. But I bet if it was cash he would have ahreed to see him today.
I have been going to Dr. Kadir for several years. I have never gotten out of his office in less than 3 1/2 hrs. I have waited up to 5hrs. Me and my husband are starting feeling like he is over booking .
He doesn't make appointments until 3pm. We have never left his office in under 3 hours. He sees us for 5 minutes. Every time we've been to his office people have left because they get tired of waiting. I cannot see how he has any good reviews.
Dr. Kadir is extremely concerned and knowledgeable. He is an excellent diagnostician
