I got a referral to see Dr Sasson at Stony Brook from the VA Medical Center in Northport. He was fantastic and sorted out in clear fashion what my situation was. After a few years of fretting he put me at ease. He and his team were terrific and I highly recommend them. The whole hospital functions at a high level. A pleasure.

I liked that he explained a lot about my surgery. And telling me what. I can Expect !! Even though we never know how it’s going to go. It’s in his hands and Gods !! And I feel comfortable with him !!

Exactly 2 years ago this week I was admitted into the hospital for what I thought would be a short stay, that quickly turned into a nightmare when I was diagnosed with the worst case of pancreatitis leaving me fighting for my life for 30 days and nights … a few weeks after discharge I had a 8 hour surgery to remove my gallbladder , a part of my liver , and a tumor which was located on my Bile duct … since surgery I have been getting scanned every 6 months.. today marks 2 years and I officially graduated to getting scanned on... read more
