I'll start with saying I am picky about Dr's and how they communicate. That said, I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Amos. He tells me everything I need to know & then some, answers all my questions, clearly explains all options & possible outcomes, plus provides me with medical background (statistics) for everything I ask him about. He did my vasectomy & is currently treating me for possible prostate cancer.

I have been seeing Dr. Amos for about 7 years. I have never encountered a better, more compassionate physician in my life! He explains everything in just the right amount of detail and guides you through treatment options. The USMD system; however, is lacking. It takes forever to get through the bureaucracy with someone as simple as “Can you confirm my appointment”. You have to navigate through a phone menu system that takes at least 30 seconds just to give you the options. Then when you finally talk to a human, it’s worse t... read more

I have been seeing Dr. Amos for 7 years. I really like him. He is kind, caring, attentive and he actually listens to me. He makes every effort to attend to my needs. I wish I could say the same for his staff; they are about as rude and uncaring as you can get.

Dr is always running late. Never is on time .. fare warning if you make an appointment never expect to be called back at you appointment time, always 45-60 min late. Even when you at a 9 am visit. Do yourself a favor. Find a different urologist

Dr Amos has nice office staff that does a great job in being kind, helping patients feel valued, and meeting the patient's needs. The lobby in clean and in order. Dr Amos did a thorough examination and explained my thought-out options better than I had expected. He sat down and thoroughly explained what my options were, what can be expected, and benefits/risks of each, writing it out legibly on a sheet of paper to add a personal touch. He is a great listener, patient-centered, & efficient. :)

Poor receptionist ... unfriendly and unwilling to work with the patient in filling out the paperwork! I’d never recommend this place! Wanted to reschedule me for being 2mins late on turning in the paperwork when I was there 25mins early and filling it out in the waiting room... y’all suck...

Staff is incompetent. I know it wasn't an accident that they did not submit my claim to ins and now I am stuck with a balance that should not have incurred because the doctor orders all these unnecessary tests and then have another facility read the images so that is also a charge that you will not be informed of. How can you send me to get scans and then double charge me for someone reading it that you referred me to. They read it for you, not for me. You had to give the results. Do not go

Dr. Amos is a professional in every aspect. He has taken excellent care of my medical needs as my prostate grows with age. He has a very warm bedside manner, is an excellent communicator and explains everything in common sense terms. My recommendation is objective, heart felt and comes from someone who is not particularly fond of being in the care of doctors in general.

Dr. Amos was wonderful. My husband is not happy about seeing doctors so he had a somewhat "cold" demeanor. Dr. Amos obviously picked that up and was very considerate. He sit and explained what PSA was, what it did and the different ways to treat the condition. After the exam, my husband made several comments and Dr. Amos has a great personality and laughed with him. I would recommend anyone who needs a great doctor to see Dr. Amos
