Dr. Jenkins is very kind and approachable. He is always patient and explains everything in terms my mom can understand. He waits for her to process information and always follows up with, “ok, now what questions do you have for me?” He also asks if she is concerned about xyz (whatever symptoms may result from treatment). This lets her know he really wants to hear her concerns. And he cares about her.
I was so impressed with the OCSRI facilities when I first walked in. I met Dr Jenkins right before my surgery. Then again two weeks later. Each and every appointment my confidence in him grew stronger. Then, I became very excited about each and every upcoming appointment. The care I received from Dr Jenkins just lifted my spirits and helped me get through the chemo treatments. I feel he is a part of my family and I owe my life to him. Thank you, Dr. Jenkins, for everything you have done for me and continue to do for me.
