We drive an hour to get to Doylestown Vet and so far, have been thrilled with the care our dog has received. I take a holistic approach to my own health and have only had vets be rude and protest when I asked about using a holistic approach with my dog. They have natural alternatives on their recommended lists and do not pressure you to make decisions you don't feel comfortable with. My pup is a patient of Dr Laura Weis. When we first brought him in to Doylestown Veterinary Hospital he was a very sick 5 month old GSD. His previous vet could not help him, he was just getting sicker and sicker. We were very lucky to become a patient of dr Laura Weis. Dr Laura Weis is absolutely amazing. Lily loves her friends at Doylestown Veterinary Hospital! They are always kind and gentle! She has never been to a dr that made his (Dr McDonald) own follow up phone calls. Dr McDonald was very sympathetic when it was time to say good bye to Lily’s sister, Vodka. We love it at DVH!!
We are new to the area and just got a 3 month old Havanese puppy after a five year hiatus due to our Shitzu pet of 13 years. We drove into the beautiful facility and was immediately impressed with staff and physical plant. Everyone was knowledgeable and welcoming and everything was spotless. Our new puppy visit was not rushed, our vet, Dr Sembler, took her time with her check up, asking questions, listening to our questions and giving us well thought out answers.
