When crisis hit my life, I knew I need mental health care and I am so happy I found the Downtown Mind Wellness. I was able to get an intake within the same week, matched with a therapist and started my sessions. I've been seeing my therapist for months now and I can't thank her enough. The whole center has made managing my mental health really wonderful. Shout out to the admin team who really put in the hours.
The world is a scary place right now and I was so pleased with my experience at Downtown Mind Wellness. From the very beginning I felt heard and received excellent care. The staff is very compassionate and the therapy has really been helping me with my current anxiety and past issues. I normally don't write reviews, but if you are considering making a call for an appointment for your mental wellness this is the place to go.
I have used DMW therapy and psychiatric services ever since before the pandemic. Psychiatric Nurse Victoria Chan and Dr. Beth Doddato are amazingly wonderful and compassionate in my dilemma over whether to stay on medication as a bipolar type 1. • super responsive • great communication in answering any questions/concerns • scheduling was a breeze. my appointment was set up for the next day after my inquiry call was sent in • flexible scheduling times/dates • meetings are convenient because they use zoom technology for virtual visits • most importantly, fast results! i got my medication the same day of my appointment and im back to normal again! thanks i recommend their nurse practitioner: Jordan Swiskow
