We LOVE this place! Veru modern, wonderful food and drinks. Great atmosphere. Staff is friendly and smart. Just nothing to not like about Downtown Kitchen!!
Just what we were looking for in Tucson Az. A late birthday for me, my daughter and son in-law. We all have birthdays in early December! Food was great no one rushed us. Six of us counting the two grandsons.
Visited on a whim... When checking in, the blonde lady was extremely friendly, however a taller dark haired woman whispered into her ear about not seating us because of a large group that was coming in(the group had yet to arrive after we ate and left). The blonde then replied saying some to the effect of, 'We can do this and this" again the woman whispered a no to which the blonde said, "yes we can". Of our favorite downtown restaurants in Tucson! They even accommodated our group on New Year's, with some who didn't want the choices of the special menu that night. Waiter made it an enjoyable evening for all! The food was absolutely delicious!
Not impressed. Expensive, simply due to odd entree combinations. Food was not bad. Not great or fantastically unique, just normal. We went there with someone who was having a birthday. They did nothing until asked, and then brought a small wax candle affixed to a plate. No piece of cake or ice cream, just a candle on a plate. Clearly full and every seat taken, but I don't get it. So not worth it.
The ceviche was incredible! Great bar and a nice downtown restaurant, we'll go back for sure!
