(I can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet!) The team at Downtown, Inc works tirelessly to promote, improve, and inform people of all the GREAT things happening downtown. They're grant writers, cheerleaders, tour group leaders, First Friday and event planners, fundraisers, business developing machines. We're really lucky to have a team as dedicated and strong as they are. When you see them, thank them.
Downtown York is a small city that thrives on small businesses and community. It's an up and coming city and has so many lovely shops, restaurants, and bars! First Fridays and other street events are just the best! Everyone comes out for them, rain or shine and there is always wonderful live music everywhere. Downtown York is one of my favorite ways to spend a Friday or Saturday night.
It was very nice! A most see for history buffs! Wish they had more parking for out of state guests we have a motor home and it was a nightmare finding a place to park! We are from NC
Architecture is great, downtown is clean but the people that made themselves known were rude and crude. I was not impressed with the culture of the city.
I had the best Mother's Day. I attended the Street Fair for the first time and couldn't have been happier. I really enjoyed Illstyle and Peace productions. My kids and grandson had a blast as well. I'm definitely attending next year.
This past Sunday I attended the Olde York Street Festival, it was a really nice event, big turn out, and a great way to spend the day.
