The atmosphere was amazing. Also our waiter was very friendly. My husband was very impressed with his steak but me on the otherhand my mash potatoes were cold and chicken was tough.
First and last time at this restaurant. The service was very good and the food was fine. The big problem was another table of six that was extremely loud. My group of six could not hear each other or the server. People from the back private room came out to see what was all the noise. The Downtown Grill provides great atmosphere, great food and great service.
Have eaten here many times but last night was not very good at all. Wait staff was great but the food lacked in taste and quality. We ordered the aged ribye each and was sorely disappointed. The steak lacked taste and was very tough.. for a restaurant that is supposed to be high end, I would have expected something other than a Walmart steak....
This was our first time at the Downtown Grill with three other couples. The place was nice and we had a back room all to our own. Five us us ordered the aged ribeye and all were over cooked l, tasted very dry and had very little flavor. I’ve had choice steaks that were much better. Wish we could have gotten into the restaurant without having to go through the smokers bar. Sorry those cigars didn’t start my night off well. 2 or 3 items on the menu were not available but finally settled on the ribeye and it was very good. Then when we left we had to go back through the smoking area. The cigar smell pretty much ruined the good food experience. It is a nice place with a great atmosphere. If the smoking doesn’t bother you then it’d be a good place for you
Always amazing. Service and selection too notch. Historic location and staff make this place more than the once and a while dining experience.
