Downtown Container Park

About this business

The Downtown Container Park is a gigantic shopping complex created using abandoned shipping containers, hence the name. These shipping containers are an address to eclectic shops selling local merchandise, souvenirs and more, and their creative layout simply leaves you in awe. There are also many restaurants that call these quaint containers home. Apart from shopping, what makes this place unique are the various exhibits of massive sculptures that line the park, one such attraction is the giant, fire-emitting Mantis which wa... read more

It was our first time bringing our 7 year old to Vegas, and my brother mentioned this little gem to me. WOW!! We spent hours in the play area. Our son made friends and spent most of his time running around. It was an added benefit for parents to be able to enjoy a nice cold beer or beverage.

It's very very unfortunate to see you will be using animals for entertainment at your Earth Day event, when the all point of having an Earth Day, is to save and protect our planet. By using and exploding animals we END all our planets natural resources and we KILL our plants living beings. Please do the right thing and don't support this! Remove the petting zoo from this event, and I'll be happy to participate and be glad to change my review.

Please do not include the petting zoo in your event. Earth Day is a wonderful holiday that should be respected for all Earthlings. Petting zoos are inhuman and very cruel. These beautiful animals have to suffer the shock of a whole new place and tons of strange humans jabbing their hands in and out of whatever comfort zones they have left. It's scary to be forced to be around loud sounds and no rest and that gives them anxiety. Caged animals have the tendency to hurt themselves and no one wants that to happen. It's deeply sa... read more

I'm very disappointed that you will be having a petting zoo in your "Earth Day" event. Traveling zoos and petting zoos subject animals to the stress of transport, alien environments, irregular feeding and watering, mishandling, and crowds of strangers. Please cancel the petting zoo!

Very disappointed to hear that an allegedly progressive place like this would host a petting zoo. Why would you celebrate "Earth Day" by subjecting animals to loud noises, big, unfamiliar crowds and the unsolicited touching by inexperienced hands? You're located in the inner city, is this a logical place for "petting zoo animals" like goats, pigs, and highly timid creatures such as rabbits to be? Why not be an example to the Las Vegas community and choose to advocate for compassion for all beings, instead of a cheap gimmick ... read more

I ate at pinches tacos which was excellent customer service. Excellent food and we ate the pinches tacose with 6 fillings the only part of the night we didnt like was the extremely rude security guard she was unprofessional and doesnt seem to want to be employed this is the only reason for this 1 star. The male security guard actually knew how to speak to a person unlike her. This park is really out of the way even from freemont street so i doubt you should be leaving people with a bad impression especially the locals who ca... read more
