About this business

The Downtown Container Park is a gigantic shopping complex created using abandoned shipping containers, hence the name. These shipping containers are an address to eclectic shops selling local merchandise, souvenirs and more, and their creative layout simply leaves you in awe. There are also many restaurants that call these quaint containers home. Apart from shopping, what makes this place unique are the various exhibits of massive sculptures that line the park, one such attraction is the giant, fire-emitting Mantis which wa... read more

If you're like me, "the strip" is a place to avoid. The downtown container park, on the other hand, is an oasis of cool shops and creative places to eat healthy. It's also a fun place for kids to play and escape the sun!

Great place that's kid friendly. Have a cool fenced-in area for play so that your kids don't run away. And the shops and food are good too! Ice cream shop opening up soon, so this summer treat area will be even better! Had a blast downtown here!

I'm actually a local and this was my first time there. There are some very cool shops and friendly workers there. My youngest two kids( 7 and 9) loved the play area and my oldest (22) and i looked through the shops. We spent the most time in the toy shop at the end. They have some really cool toys to look at and some great music going. I wish we could've seen the fire but it wasn't happening then. We will definitely be back.

I was the perfect ending to a busy day as a tourist. To just sit there with some food and drinks and let the kids play is amazing. I wish our town had places like this. One of the highlights of our trip!!

Great place to grab a bite or a drink. What a great concept. I love that most of the businesses are first time businesses not chains.
