RecommendedI've had only good experiences with DFCU. The lines are usually pretty short and I can't find a better interest rate for credit cards. The people have always been friendly and helpful. I've suggested this place to many people, even strangers in line at stores.

Downey Federal Credit Union does not come close to competing with other big banks, they have a new online system that is broken and full of bugs. Whenever I go to the branch, employees are unprofessional and dressed to do janitorial work. The tellers are careless with customer information, always asking customers to repeat their account number out loud and then repeat back non discretely. I absolutely Love this place. Everyone here is so friendly I will forever be a member here. Places like this are hard to find when you see every employee happy thats how you know there being taken care of. And in return they treat all of us Members the same exact way.
