We've been waiting for 7 weeks to schedule the trimming. The service was able to come within days, for the estimate, but I've followed up 5-6 times to schedule the service, and can't get a call back. It shouldn't be this hard to give someone my money!
Great guys, I’ve had them complete a couple projects timely and professionally. They did me a favor recently returning two years after my tree was cut to do some extra emergency grinding that was in the way of a new patio.
Great service, great people. I have done business with Downes multiple times over the years and have zero complaints! Would recommend their service to all my friends and family!!
Disputed a bill b/c it contained charges for services not performed. 2 weeks later, Downes Tree Service insists on meeting to "clarify" the work done. The work was never performed. Have provided picture as proof. No response. Why the insistence on meeting and wasting customer's time? As a 10+ year customer, I strongly recommend against using Downes Tree Service for your needs. It is no longer the company it once was.
I used Downes to remove a tree at my rental property. I'm very impressed with the promptness of the Downes team on the day of tree removal, and the professional service they performed, and the cleanup afterwards. The other great thing was that the tenants are not inconvenienced due to their promptness and effectiveness in taking down the tree. Even the neighbour to my property praised the company on how quickly the tree was took down and the cleanup afterwards. Downes now becomes my preferred vendor for tree issues.
