Day 4 Another good night’s sleep! I can’t believe I walked into the Downeast surgery center on 10/29/25 at 8:30 am and walked out on crutches to the car to go home at 3:00! I had a full hip replacement with the best care I could possibly ask for. They knew what I needed before I did. All my questions were answered, even the nutty ones like should I put a mark on my surgery hip? Wonderful staff!! I had Carpal Tunnel Release, it was a quick surgery. I would recommend Dr Allen if anyone is looking to have this kind of surgery done.
My wife was having surgery here. The lobby had two people, myself & another lady working quietly on her laptop. We both wanted the TV muted to reduce the noise pollution in the lobby. When I asked the receptionist I was told, “We’re unable to mute the TV because there are other patients here.” When the only two people in the lobby are asking for the TV to be muted…maybe the right thing to do is mute the TV.
