Dr Rumsey may possibly be the best obgyn I have ever met, bed side manners are perfect and he explains everything so you can understand which I appreciate....a BIG THANK YOU to every one of you!!
I can never express how much I LOVE this office. Dr. Benoit delivered me as well as my 3 children along with Dr. Rumsey. Through many surgeries and other procedures I never once felt the need to question their opinion. The hugs and hand shakes with my family after each baby was born is more than you get from most. The personalization the team at downEast OBGYN team give you is like no other. These providers are the most amazing we could ever find!
Dr. Benoit was fantastic throughout my entire pregnancy and before! Wouldn’t consider anyone else to help me through such a wonderful time.

Hands down, the BEST office in the Bangor and surrounding areas. Dr Kauffman was my surgeon prior to pregnancy and then provided the best prenatal care for a nervous, first time mom. Dr Rumsey was amazing in the delivery room and Dr Benoit took great care of me with postpartum concerns. The office staff always greets everyone with a smile and they are so organized.
