Brister's is hands down the best BBQ in North Louisiana. The food never disappoints, and the service is excellent. You cannot go wrong with BBQ nachos or the chicken plate. BBQ aficionados should try their signature sandwich, The Scatterload. Make sure you get it with cheese on a jalapeño bun.
My favorite part about going back to Louisiana is a pit stop at Brister's on the way home!
