The ATM technology that reads the checks itself is not ready for public. I have had the ATM misread a check twice in as many weeks. I caught it both times and called my bank. I was charged a fee. I can understand the fee if I didn't catch it and call. I did not have mistakes in my deposits when using envelops. Please consider whether this technology is really going to serve your customers in outdoor ATM in Michigan winters. You might want to go back to the old style until the bugs are worked out of the new style technology
