Took my wife to Dovetail for our wedding anniversary. My wife had the farm fresh salad, beef filet tenderloin and the cracked pie. I had the surf and turf which was beef filet tenderloin and scallops. All the food was GREAT !! The customer service we experienced was GREAT!! Would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!!
Owwwwwh, those scallops were seasoned well, and that pimento cheese in the grits was delish - topped off with smoked pepper sauce from Jeffersonville, GA.
Amazing experience that makes you forget that this is Macon. From the greeting at the top of the steps as you enter until you exit. It’s not just a meal, it’s truly an event! Employees Know their offerings and are so kind and generous! Scallops, lamb, crack pie!!! Oh my!! Absolutely the best meal, atmosphere, experience that I have ever had in a restaurant, anywhere! You can thank me later!!❤️

Dovetail has uncommon cuisine that is very tasty. Unique combinations paired with great service makes for a lovely evening out. I would not recommend this for children, there is nothing to hold their interest and the food’s uniqueness would not be appreciated by the younger crowd. For adults, this is GREAT opportunity to try interesting gourmet dishes that will surprise and enchant you.

Our brunch was phenomenal & the service was impeccable. Extremely impressed by the entire Easter brunch. Our waiter was perfectly on-point, the support staff were excellent & we can’t wait to go back! Loved the local choices. Keep up the fantastic job!
