First experience in store at Dover Saddlery today in Raleigh NC. I had ordered online but never made the two hour trip to the nearest store. I needed help with fitting of a helmet, boots and show attire for my daughter. With very little experience in this area, I was a little nervous. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. They helped us get everything we needed at a reasonable price. Thanks so much Lorri B and all the other staff. It was worth the trip. Emily & Madi
I ordered a halter nameplate in JULY and they said they just shipped it last week..(now DECEMBER) I called probably 6 times checking on it? They acted like it was the first time hearing about it each time. Im not sure if there is a lack of communication at that store or what.. the manager ended up finally getting it shipped i beleive (i still dont have it) but they still didnt call saying it was in because apparently my active number wasnt a working number? We always appreciate the variety and selection at Dover, our favorite equestrian attire and tack shop. Today’s shopping experience exceeded our expectations. Emma provided exemplary service and great attention to details when helping my daughter select her riding boots. Emma’s friendliness and genuinely pleasant personality definitely will encourage us to make the trip from Wilmington to Raleigh again soon to shop at Dover!
The people were so so friendly and helpful!! I definitely recommend this place. Left with what I needed, and they helped me find everything possible off the sale rack. Lots of things on sale (:

It would be nice if they would actually work the freaking hours that they post online even for holidays. I looked at the holiday hours and they are supposed to be open until 6pm tonight. Here I sit at 5:05pm and they are closed with a sign on the door that says they are closing at 4pm today. I just drove 45 minutes to get here because of the “holiday hours” posted ONLINE for this specific day!!!! � Nothing on their FB page that I could find either. Needless to say I’m highly irritated! ��
