My husband and I were car shopping with a loan we had already been approved for at our bank. Dougs tried to tell us it was policy to run a credit check for identification purposes of an individual. We advised many times we already had our own financing and did not need a credit check, however, they kept giving us an excuse for a reason to do a credit check. Shady business. Do not buy a vehicle from them.

After having mediocre and disappointing experiences with upwards of five other dealerships, ***** ***** ***** and team at Dougs were a serious breath of fresh air! I knew what car I wanted and I just wanted to make sure I got the best deal possible and the team at Dougs were the most fair in my opinion, and the easiest to talk to. Stay away from these dead beat shady sleezy balls. They will lie, cover up and do anything they can to make a sell to you but if you do have to have that car or truck I will advise you to check every single thing out and do not miss a single bulb because if you do it could be because of a major problem behind that small blown bulb or TMPS sensor light that is on the dash. Make sure everything is in writing and make sure you write the attorney General if things go south. Stay on top of this sleezy dealership. Horrible place.... read more

I bought a car 2 months ago. The transmission died. I had it towed, and the mechanic said that it was negligent to sell me a car with an obviously defective transmission. And bald tires. And bad rear brakes. I went in and the used car manager came out guns blazing, unwilling to even entertain a conversation with me about a remedy. He was very rude and unprofessional and flat out walked away before the conversation was resolved. He said that the 2000 miles I’ve put on it caused these problems. I wasn’t able to submit my response The dealership failed to tell you that they lied to the lender about how long I had been at my job. They lied to me about my credit score about it being 540 on my credit score is actually a 630 they told the dealership that I was going to put down $7000 when I had only put 6500 they claim that the bank was aware but they were not they told me that if I wanted to Be funded through them that they would have to write a new contract with the correct down payment. Following a hit and run accident that totaled our 1-year old Ford Escape was deemed a total loss. My partner and I were in the market for a new vehicle. Bait & Switch! I was given an online quote and when I went to purchase the car they would not honor the price quoted. Said they had to add on the extras even though the car I was quoted on had the extras. This place lives up to everything we hate about car dealers.
