I had a persistent wound on my great toe. I saw many MANY podiatrists over a period of about five years on an attempt to heal that wound. The podiatrist would typically debride the wound, sometimes they would just change the dressing, then send me on my way. See see ya back in about a month.” I saw Dr. Reid once; he debrided the wound and I didn’t need to see him again. He fixed it; it healed. That’s it. That’s pretty good in my opinion.
