I did not read reviews before going to this Doctor at UHealth. I won't write a lengthy negative detailed review to not waste your time. Simply put...my review will read exactly as the bad reviews listed from the past. Find any other doctor. Even if you pay out of pocket, you'll be better off.

Terrible experience. Look at the other detailed reviews, they tell the truth. Total cost of under an hour-long conversation (booked for 30 min, but it was longer) - 2755 USD. With a "discount" from the insurer, I was left to pay over 1080 USD! Aside from the conversation itself, and right after seeing this bill, I reached out to the UM Billing department and patient experience team for help, as I believed they made a mistake. I spent 90 minutes half a year ago in Dr Douglas Johnson-Greene's office, and although my experience wasn't a bad one, I received a charge of $2755.00 which is absolutely egregious. Who can afford to pay for this? Absolutely no one. This is nothing short of scalping. stay away unless you want to be charged thousands of dollars.

I thought getting a $2,755 bill after spending 30 minutes in his office listening to all the trash he had to say about me being transgender and how he wasn't able to treat me because of his lack of experience with the lgbtq+ community was a misunderstanding but after reading the previous review it looks like this doctor enjoys insurance companies paying for services he never provides. And the worse part of this situation is that UHealth (University of miami) does nothing about it... take a look at the bill I got for services... read more
