Dr Wermuth knew exactly why I had lost hearing and knew exactly how long it would last until it cleared up on its own and with his little helpful hints. He could have gone directly to surgery but advised me to wait and see. So happy he did!
STAY FAR AWAY. Terrible doctor. Barely looked at me, had comments in the the notes that he never said to me. Basically just told me to take some allergy meds. 5 years after seeing him I got another referral for ent and I now see a doctor who cares and listens. I have an S shaped septum, which makes it extremely difficult for me to breathe through my nose. He wrote in the report that it was “slightly deviating to the right”. Had he actually done his job and put the effort in to examine me, this could have been resolved years ... read more
Dr. Wermuth seems to only half listen. I was given no diagnosis, advice, or recommendations in regards to the ringing in my ears aside from a post-it note to a website that recommended I see a doctor. I'll save you the time, it's ata.org.
