I came in after a serious fall that has left me unable to walk normally for months. I explained my symptoms, the instability I’ve been feeling, and everything I’ve tried so far, but I felt dismissed throughout the appointment. Every time I tried to explain what was going on, I felt like I was being cut off. My concerns weren’t fully listened to, and the doctor didn’t examine my hip or back before telling me there wasn’t much else he could do and referred me to pain management.

I highly recommend getting a second opinion if Dr. Connor was your provider. It is completely reasonable to refer patients to someone who may be more familiar with a certain type of issue. What is not acceptable is not acknowledging lack of expertise in a certain area and telling a patient that there is nothing wrong, to continue physical therapy. The only benefit to my visits with Dr. Connor was that he ordered the imaging that was crucial in the diagnosis of several issues by a qualified physician.

Was being treated for tendonitis when my symptoms spread to my legs. When I raised my concerns, he got frustrated with me and told me I was being impatient and to continue with my physical therapy.Years later it was revealed I had a rare disorder that could have been caught if he investigated the symptoms spreading to my legs, and further damage could be prevented if he was willing to listen to my concerns. Instead the damage is now permanent and I will never be the same again.

I was charged $549.00 for a 10 minute office visit with Dr. Douglas Connor to review a MRI that I had previously done at a facility other than Thedacare. I originally wanted to see Dr. Lohrbach but he was booked out quite far, so they recommended the walk-in clinic. I did that and they ordered an MRI. I waited to hear back from ThedaCare Medical Center-Orthopedic, Spine and Pain. After not hearing back I finally called them, and they said they never received the results but asked if I could come in within 40 minutes for a fo... read more

We both were impressed with his knowledge, he explained our issues carefully and presented options we understood. We are very impressed and pleased our family doctor, Dr. Grunwald referred us to Dr. Connor.

Absolutely the worst experience ever. I will never go back to this clinic. I was referred and everyone seemed depression and grumpy. Bad day, I don't know. The front desk people were not nice, the person rooming me was in a rush and the doctor conner did not explain anything to me and seemed bothered I was there. Do not go here.

I fell while traveling out of town and waited until I returned to see a doctor when I learned I had a mild fracture instead of a sprained ankle. The ThedaCare Orthopedic Care front desk staff, Ty (trainer) and Dr. Connor were great with answering all my questions and helping me learn the proper way to use crutches since I ordered them online with curbside delivery from a local retail store while I was out of town and I had them set up incorrectly. Looking forward to my follow up visit and getting out of this boot!

Dr. Connor is an excellent physician. He is on time, kind and knowledgeable. He explains things well, presents all options and then allows the patient to help determine the course of action (if appropriate). I recommend him highly.

Went to him for broken ankle after a fall. He misdiagnosed me (said sprain or small fracture vs. broken piece unattached, torn ligament and floating cartilage.) Had to do physical therapy with a broken bone and torn ligament! Pain got worse. Refused to order MRI. Had to find another Dr. because he refused to investigate the lack of progress and increasing pain. New Dr. ordered MRI immediately and performed 71 min. of reconstructive surgery on 3 sides of my foot! His wrong diagnosis, wrong treatment ordered and refusal to do ... read more
