I had my appointment date wrong but was welcomed in to see the dentist and have a problem checked. Everyone was pleasant and seemed to care about my comfort.
I had missed an appointment with Kelly in January, due to illness. i was supposed to reschedule but hadn't done so yet. They called to remind me and got me in that very same day (against my better wishes as i do not like to go the dentist) Everyone is great there, calming my fears and making the appoinment much better than i had anticipated. I would recommend this place to everyone!
That is probably a rare title for a review of a Dental Place but it really fits this place. Everyone is so friendly and nice. You do not have to have that old "Oh no, not the dentistl!" feeling there. It is really quite relaxing. Douglas Dental is really the best!
I went to Douglas Dental for the first time since I've moved to Des Moines and felt immediately at home. The staff is FANTASTIC, and I felt like I had a very professional exam and cleaning. This is definitely my new dental office!

My son went in for two teeth to be extracted. He was nervous. The Dr. was supportive and explained how everything was going happen. He asked if he was ready and gave him encouragement through the entire extraction.
After having a terrible experience at one of the other "dentist offices" down the street, I came to Douglas Dental and was completely relieved with how clean, organized, and proper. Unlike the other location which was poorly cleaned and focused more on making the sale and not so much about patient care. I surely was taken care of this time! Thank you!
I have EXTREMELY SENSITIVE teeth and a partial. The Staff at Douglas Dental have always been kind, considerate, and accommodating to ensure my visits are as comfortable as possible.
I have been a patient at Douglas Dental for many years. The staff is friendly and helpful. They all really care about your teeth and health. Dr. Rastetter is a great dentist and the work is pretty much pain free. I have had root canals, a bridge, and lots of preventative care. I highly recommend Douglas Dental.
