Can’t say enough about my experience with Dr. Reed and his entire staff, as well as the care I received at UPMC Magee. My condition required 3 separate but temporally close hospitalizations. Each time I believe I received exceptional care, especially from Dr. Reed. He spent whatever time was necessary to explain my condition and described fully my alternatives for treatment. Absolutely disrespectful nurses I was transferred here and never again will I come back my surgery was booked for 11:45 a.m they left me in the holding area in pain and my surgery wasn’t until 6 that night I had opposite pain in the left side they didn’t care all they wanted me to do was push it on my PCP which thank god my doctor helped me because I came out the hospital from having appendicitis they took my appendix out but didn’t want to take the time to listen to what symptoms and problems I was having after surgery my d... read more
I switched to another doctor and I’m so grateful I did after hearing so many horror stories about this doctor and Michelle and Cheryl in the office. They tell you they are there to move you through their process to make sure they show everything complies with a ‘distinction’ they have and they do not follow up with anything because they want to minimize documentation of anything that risks their distinction.
Dr. Reed is an excellent surgeon. My daughter had bariatric surgery in 2023 it was alittle scary at first but I'm happy with the results. He was very informative and helpful
