Ok. I love the doughnuts. And I was super excited for a Bacon Latte. Because who doesn't love bacon. I don't know what I was expecting, but I surely wasn't expecting a latte mixed with bacon grease. It seemed really greasy so I stopped drinking it and set it aside. 5 hours later, the grease has separated to the top and started to solidify. I'm in shock that this is a drink.

Hi Brittany, thank you for your feedback. Bacon grease is a common cooking ingredient. We could use a bacon-flavored syrup, but that would contain artificial flavors and this is a more natural way to get that yummy, salty bacon flavor. We do recommend you drink the latte soon after we make it, rather than quite a while later because it won't be fresh anymore. My husband comes to Tampa for business ever so often and he has been telling me about the Donut Burger and I've been wanting to try it ever since he told me about it! I was intimidated at first sight of it, but oh man was it amazing!!! We also got the Dachos for the appetizer and WOW again! I LOVED it! The donuts and other desserts looked beautiful and delicious as well!! We had our 2 toddlers with us so we had to run after eating and weren't able to get any dessert, but I want to go back!
Yesterday was my first visit to Datz Dough and the choices were overwhelming.....I desperately wanted one of everything!! Finally decided on the Red Velvet donut which was AMAZING!! Loved the hot tea selection; and the staff was super kind! Can't wait to cheat on my diet again!!
