Our Jeep has been in the shop at **** Smith for over a month. We had an appointment, which is a complete joke as they did not start working on it for a day or two. The service writer, ****** is making excuses that the delay is the warranty company's fault. I have spoken with the warranty company 2 times. Thank you for your patience with getting your vehicle diagnosed. It has been a difficult process trying to work through your aftermarket service contract company. I have given the technician authorization to continue with diagnostics despite the aftermarket service contract company not wanting to pay for the diagnostics. We will hopefully have more answers soon to determine what the next steps will be.
I recently had a bad experience at **** Smith Jeep while trying to buy a new set of tires for my Jeep. The representative at the parts desk was particularly unhelpful and seemed annoyed from the moment I walked up to them. I purchased this vehicle with a clean **** of sale. I was even issued a certificate that indicated that the car had never been in an accident and that there was a buy back guarantee if there was anything found to be wrong. Since that time, I have found several things wrong with the car. Beginning with the failure of my air conditioning shortly after I had purchased this vehicle. He was not pushy or overbearing like many sales people at other dealerships. The entire staff and buying process were wonderful and exceeded my expectations. I had a recall notice for the passenger side airbag on my Forester. When I got my car back over 24 hours later the center console vent and right side vent did not work - no air would come out of these vents. The right side vent control was no longer attached to the dashboard. When I reported these problems in reply to a customer service email I received no response. This was a very disappointing experience having been a customer for 10 years.

I went to Doug Smith KIA Service because one of my lights had burnt out. Earlier I had tried to get to it and I was unsuccessful. I then read in the owner's manual it mentioned it needed to be replaced by a KIA technician. When I went there I was greeted by Rick a Service Attendant. I told him of my situation and he mentioned that the headlight assembly would need to be removed. I thought Wow that will need to take a lot of work but it needed to be done.
