I did not have a good experience with Dr. Wulff. I had three appointments with him and he could never remember my name or anything about my case history each time. The bedside manner was very laissez-faire. I would bring concerns of symptoms to Dr. Wulff and they were dismissed. I communicated symptoms I was having to a nurse practitioner over the phone; she then started to puedo diagnose what it was. Later tests revealed those hypothesis wasn’t true. One of the best Gastroenterologist I've had in almost 30 years of treatment!!!
After gall bladder surgery, sent us home with sepsis - which is serious!! Admitted to hospital again with infectious disease. …. When mentioned this to him, he said it only happens to 10% patients. BEWARE if you happen to fall in the 10%! He has no follow up care or concern about you once gall bladder sx is over and he files insurance. You are on your own! Zero bedside manner or compassion! Lots of other great docs out there!
I've been seeing Dr. Wolf for 5+ years and he is tops in the field of Crohn's disease & IBD. Only wish I had found him many years earlier. He is up to date on all research for treating bowel disease.
