I'm a Hilton Gold member. Obviously I have stayed at quite a few Hilton properties across the country, all for family/road trips. This is the first 4 star Hilton hotel we've ever stayed at. However, we chose this hotel for its proximity to Comerica Stadium. We were there for a concert and didn't want to drive in. The attitude of the gentleman that checked me in around 11:30 pm on 8/14/2026 was sarcastically kind and didn't want to be bothered. I needed things in the room and he questioned my needs. He saw me with a 91-year old woman. The website said shower chairs were available. I needed one. What was so hard about it? And when I asked for bedding for the sleeper sofa, he acted like I asked for a whole other bed. The bag in the closet had one pillow, and a blanket. No sheets. I had visited the area for family reunion and, from moment we arrived until we left the staff gave us excellent service. Beds were very comfortable and clean linen. I’m very impressed that the house keeping department paid attention to details and accommodate my guests and I and made us feel at home.

Everything was amazing. The location, the close access to the people mover, it was nice, quiet and cozy. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. No major complaints, I highly recommend this hotel and we will be back. Minor cons; the bathroom made very loud noise every 10 minutes or so. It didn't bother me but my daughter couldn't sleep with that noise. The cleaning was not great. The surfaces were kinda sticky and the cabinet and drawers didn't look like they had been wiped down in awhile. I don't think it was vacuumed. But it ... read more

Booked here and the AC was out in our room. It was sitting at 80 for 3+ hours. Dewan(sorry for the spelling if I messed up!) from the engineering department (who also was down a person and happened to come in to work!) came to our room and completely changed out the AC unit at 10:30 pm because there was no other rooms for us to switch to. He is a GEM of an employee and deserves all the praise!!!!!
