Bree at the front desk was awesome. She went above and beyond in customer service. Hotel was very clean. Nice location. Definitely will visit again.
It appears that maintenance and renovations are not a priority at this Hilton facility and it is very disappointing because this hotel has so much potential. What disappointed me the most was that I stayed here during off season & their whole parking lot was closed and we were forced to use the parking garage and pay. The worst part was that I went to leave with all my luggage in hand the next morning and had to walk the parking garage to the top level because the elevator was out of service. The Doubletree at The Battery was in an excellent location! You can walk with ease to restaurants and day/night activities and actually feel safe! The best thing about this hotel is the breakfast! I think the Chef’s name was Maria but she did a jam up job! She worked hard and even opened a little earlier to actually feed our ball team since we had to be at facility so early! As a Hilton Honor member I stay at several Hilton hotels and they should be ashamed of this one. When you arrive, they have their own parking lot taped off so you can’t part at the hotel, you must park at the garage next door, so they can charge you $30… interesting enough if you are not staying at Doubletree and choose the garage to park in, it’s only $20, therefore Doubletree is charging extra for being their guest.
