Stayed here for a weekend with my wife and we were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Rooms were all suites with the bedroom separated from the living room. Hotel offers free wi-fi (which was a hit with the wife), Free breakfast (nothing to rave about), and the absolutely must try, free dinner reception. Dinner reception hours offers FREE drinks, non and alcoholic and the bartender was not cheap with the alcohol either. hands down best place in town for a good burger and a cold beer!
I'm not a fan. It is a really nice looking hotel that has a ton of features, basketball & tennis courts, swimming pool, huge fitness room. However, I didn't like the fact that it was off the highway. On the 15th floor, I can still hear all of the traffic passing by and anyone playing basketball. If that is not bad enough, the room doors are made of thin metal. review for Tropicana's Mob Experience Attraction oh man do i have a huuuuge obsession/fixation with the mob and the mafia-like it's so not okay...so when I heard about this attraction at the Tropicana, I knew that I had to experience it on my next trip to Vegas. It's interactive and pretty educational. You walk through the attraction and essentially run with the mob. At the end, it's your response that determines your fate. Great Place for High Tea! Between the elegance of the DRAKE and the harpist, it is a true delight!
I needed a place to stay for a few nights for Art Basel and I decided to stay there because of the central location to everything and was glad I did. The staff was extremely kind and the service was superb. Although on the smaller side, the room was incredible and hi-tech with one of the largest flat screen tv's i have ever seen in a hotel room. I just stayed in this charming and fun hotel with a girlfriend while enjoying some rest and relaxation in South Beach. The dark wood and atmosphere throughout the hotel along with the fine linens in the room made me feel like I was in Europe. I would highly recommend this hotel on your next visit to the area.
