We stayed here this weekend on our trip to Schenectady. Generally, when we stay at Hiltons we expect a high level of cleanliness and service. Our room was very musty smelling. That was the first issue. Then I realized there was not soap in the room to wash my hands. The shower gel and shampoo were not attached to the wall they were set on the wire shelf in the bathroom and not even refilled. The shower also had hair in it. I’ve been staying at this hotel since Saturday, and overall it’s been a really good experience. The check-in process was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful, which made a great first impression. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for my stay. The bed was especially nice, and I was able to relax and get good rest. The hotel itself felt well-maintained, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere. I mostly enjoyed my 2 night stay here. The gym is very nice, the hotel is updated so it looks very nice. My two gripes are that there was hair on my pillows and in the shower and that the food was way overpriced for the quality. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe something was wrong in the Kitchen when I got food but either way it was not worth the price either way.
