C'est un vielle hôtel qui a été rénové de belle façon. Le seul bémol, c'est qu'il y a un petit reste d'odeur de tabac dans les chambres. Sinon, il mérite son appellation de Hilton.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Stay at the Hilton DoubleTree Kingston – August 2025 We stayed at the Hilton DoubleTree in Kingston on August 12, 2025, and had a fantastic experience overall. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Check-in was smooth, and they even gave our kids some free cookies, which was such a thoughtful touch! Bad experience at this hotel. There was no bathroom ventilation. When we asked, they told us it was a state of the art system but the bathroom mirror was fogged up. We requested the microwave but it never came. No offer for cookie while other guests were. AC was improperly located in the room (near the bed) resulting in a restless night.
The hotel is a bit outside downtown but still convenient. My room was clean and spacious, though the bed was softer than I prefer, and housekeeping didn’t refill the toilet paper or tissues. The real disappointment was the on-site restaurant, Cannery Kitchen. Service was far below what I expect from Hilton. Long waits as we had to wait for our server to come, and a very limited selection.
